Rules to add -s or -es to a verb in Simple Present Tense 3rd person singular (he, she, it)
1. When a verb ends with s, sh, ch, z, x or o we add -es.
ex. do ----- does
teach ---- teaches
wash ---- washes
kiss ---- kisses
2. When a verb ends with consonant + y we change the y for an i and add es.
ex. fly ---- flies
cry ---- cries
